Apple will soon offer an Apple Watch running app to help runners navigate through the challenging course of the 2018 Rio Olympics.
The app, which is available for free on the App Store and Google Play, will let users run the Rio Olympics in real-time, starting at the halfway point, and also show how far they’ve been from finishing the race, according to a release by the company.
Apple said it plans to release the app in the coming weeks.
The Rio Olympics are set to be the biggest sporting event in the world this year, with more than 3,500 athletes competing in 10 events, including men’s marathon, women’s 100 meters and men’s 4×100-meter relay.
Apple will also use the app to offer personalized tips on how to best run a race, which could potentially help runners get to their finish line faster.
