If you want one, you’ll pay $40 a year for a Roku set.
But if you’re looking for a free streaming service, Roku offers the most comprehensive package.
Roku users can get access to thousands of channels, plus hundreds of thousands of episodes of popular shows.
You can also watch the entire FIFA World Cup, a two-week competition held every four years in Russia.
This isn’t the only Roku service that has a video app.
Roku’s streaming app also offers the ability to watch all of the world’s soccer games on your Roku device.
But unlike the streaming apps on other services, Roku doesn’t support DVR or other “dVR-like” features.
Rokus video apps for Android and iOS are the only ones available in Canada.
If that’s your only device in Canada, Roku might not be for you.
