Nike is expected to launch a running shoe line with a focus on running on the flats, running flat tires, and even in water.
The Nike Running Series, which is based on the “nike silhouette,” is expected in spring 2018, Nike Vice President of Marketing Tom Pockrass said.
The company plans to launch running shoes in seven colors including “Blue,” “Black,” “Dark Gray,” “Neon Green,” “Purple,” and “Red.”
Pockras also said that Nike will introduce a new running shoe in 2020.
The “Nike Running Series” will be a new line with an expanded range of materials and innovative materials, said Pockrass, who declined to reveal which running shoes will be introduced.
He said that the new running shoes are a continuation of Nike’s “nose to tail” philosophy and focus on a variety of sports.
Nike also has released running shoes for men, women, and kids, Pockracss said.
Nike said it is launching the “Nokei” line of running shoes, which will include running flats, cushioning, and cushioned footbeds.
The new shoes are expected to be released in spring 2020.
Pockracs statement was in response to a question about the launch of a shoe line called the “Run Flat Tire.”
Nike said the company is looking to expand the range of shoes available for running and indoor activities in 2020, and the ” Run Flat Tire” line is part of that effort.
In addition to the new shoes, Nike is launching a new shoe range, “Noggin Flat Tire,” which will be available in four colors, including “Red,” “Blue” and “Black.”
The shoes are said to be lighter, better performing, and more durable than Nike’s existing running shoes.
The new shoes will include a new sockliner, which Nike said will be lighter and stiffer than its existing shoe line.
Nigels running shoe launches at a time when the shoe market is in decline.
Nike’s stock is down more than 30% from its record high in October 2018.
In August, Nike reported that it lost more than $1 billion in the third quarter of 2018.
