Running stretches and running horse can help runners stay in shape, even after they’ve fallen behind in the race.
The first step is getting healthy, said Dr. Susan Mertz, associate professor of sports medicine at the Mayo Clinic.
It’s easy to get in shape when you’re in the best shape of your life, she said.
She also said it’s important to be careful not to get too much exercise too soon.
“When you’re at the beginning of your run, you’re really not doing anything to increase your energy levels,” Merts said.
“And then after a few weeks of running, you realize you need to be a little more cautious.”
When you’ve been training to run for a while, it can be hard to adjust, said Merti.
You might not feel as strong or sore, or you might feel you need more training, she added.
“If you are at the bottom of the run, it’s really difficult to get up again,” she said, because you’re not really running as hard.
So if you are not feeling good, don’t do it.
When you are done running, the next step is to rest and recover, Mertu said.
When you get back on the track, it might take a little longer to recover, but it’s okay.
The running belt, which you use for your running shoes, is just one of the ways runners can make sure they stay in good shape.
A belt can be placed on the ground, so you can get a feel for how much support it offers.
You can also wear a belt around your waist, to prevent slipping, Meretz said.
“The belt is a great accessory to keep your running in good condition,” she added, noting that it can provide support to the lower back and hips, which are particularly vulnerable when you run.
“This helps prevent injuries to the hips, the lumbar spine, the knees and ankles,” Merez said.
